Meet the

Village Butcher Shoppe

Frozen meats and cheese packages arranged on shelves in a grocery store freezer.

At the Village Butcher Shoppe, we pride ourselves in offering an "Old World Style Meat Market" to the community. Our specialty is the production of sausage and products using old world recipes that offer a bold taste.

We have been in business serving the local Milford, Highland and Surrounding Communities for over 45 years. Try Our "HUNTER SAUSAGE" everyone else has.

Our History

Spring of 1983

The Milford Post Office moved into their new location on Atlantic Street and that summer we acquired the building and moved our operations into the current location where we have been for the last 42 years.

September 1978

The Village Butcher Shoppe started operation at a small store located at 1344 South Milford Road with two employees.

Today

Today we service local residents and businesses in the greater Milford, Highland, Commerce, Novi and Waterford area.  Many of the local restaurants offer Hamburgers, Steaks and Sausage produced in our store on their menu’s.  We pride ourselves in being a Michigan company and offering where possible, Michigan products.

1986

We added a Smokehouse to the operations and began offering homemade sausage and smoked fish to the community at different times throughout the year.

Our Beef Standards

At our shop, we believe great food starts with great sourcing. That’s why we proudly carry 1855 JBS Choice Angus Beef—a premium beef program focused on quality, nutrition, and humane farming.
